In the fall of 1993 I did my student teaching experience at Blue Ridge Elementary. I then was hired to be a 7th grade teacher at Lakeside Middle School for the 1994-1995 school year. I worked for 11 years at LMS as a 7th grade teacher and 1 year as a 6th grade teacher. I then worked for 13 years as assistant principal at Lakeside Middle School. I am married to Lisa Bowles, my college sweetheart. We have two boys. Andrew is 22 years old and a senior at the University of Georgia where he is majoring in electrical engineering. Connor,17 years old, is a senior at Lakeside High School. Both of my boys attended Blue Ridge Elementary from kindergarten to 5th grade. They had a wonderful experience with excellent teachers who set a great foundation to help them be successful students and successful in life. I feel very excited and privileged to have the opportunity to work with the students, parents, and faculty at Blue Ridge Elementary. I know with all of this working together we will be able to help students achieve their best.
