Mrs. Cliatt's Biography:

Welcome to Blue Ridge Elementary!  My name is Bridgette Cliatt, and I am honored to be serving as your principal this year.  I began my teaching career in 1996 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.  I am married to Cory Cliatt and we have three daughters: Savannah, Chloe, and Emma Grace.  I love to read, to travel, and all things Georgia Bulldogs!

I am so excited to be partnering with you and your family this school year!  We have an amazing staff, and we can’t wait to share our passion for teaching and learning with you and your child.  Please let us know if we can support you and your family in any way.  We look forward to working with each of you.

Mr. Bowles Biography:

 

My name is Brian Bowles. I graduated from Evans High School in 1984. I then attended Georgia Southern University where I graduated in 1988 with a BBA Marketing degree. I worked in my family’s jewelry store until 1993. I then went back to school at Augusta University to get an education degree. In the fall of 1993 I did my student teaching experience at Blue Ridge Elementary. I then was hired to be a 7th grade teacher at Lakeside Middle School for the 1994-1995 school year. I worked for 11 years at LMS as a 7th grade teacher and 1 year as a 6th grade teacher. I then worked for 13 years as assistant principal at Lakeside Middle School. I am married to Lisa Bowles, my college sweetheart. We have two adult sons, Andrew and Connor.  Both of my boys attended Blue Ridge Elementary from kindergarten to 5th grade. They had a wonderful experience with excellent teachers who set a great foundation to help them be successful students and successful in life. I feel very excited and privileged to have the opportunity to work with the students, parents, and faculty at Blue Ridge Elementary. I know with all of this working together we will be able to help students achieve their best.
