Meet Our BRE Administrators

Mrs. Jessica Williams, Principal

Welcome to Blue Ridge Elementary.  My name is Jessica Williams, and I am honored to serve as your principal for the 2026-2027 school year. 

 

My husband, Mark, and I live in Columbia County and have two children: Ella and Henry.  I earned my undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern, Masters degree from Southern Wesleyan, and Specialist from Augusta University.  Through both my classroom and personal experiences, I learned the importance of a strong work ethic and understand that having high but realistic expectations can help students achieve personal goals. My personal motto is “They don’t care how much we know, until they know how much we care.” (Theodore Roosevelt). 

 

I am excited to partner with you and your family!  We have an amazing staff, and we can’t wait to share our passion for teaching and learning with you and your child.  Please let us know if we can support you and your family in any way.  We look forward to working with each of you.

Dr. Ashlei Bell, Assistant Principal

My name is Dr. Ashlei Bell, and I am absolutely thrilled to serve as the Assistant Principal here at Blue Ridge Elementary School.

With 14 years of dedicated experience in education—previously serving as an Instructional Specialist and a classroom teacher—my passion lies in fostering an innovative, supportive, and high-achieving learning environment for all students.

I am deeply committed to lifelong learning and hold a strong foundation in curriculum design and instructional excellence. My academic journey includes a Doctorate in Educational Innovation, a Specialist in Curriculum and instruction, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and Accomplished Teaching, as well as a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I also have certifications in gifted and math education. 

 

When I am not at school supporting our wonderful teachers and students, I love spending quality time with my husband, our two beautiful daughters, and our son.

 

I am looking forward to a fantastic, collaborative, and successful school year with the Blue Ridge family. Let's Go Bobcats!
